  1.                    SKIPPING NUMBERING ON
  2.                 AND POSITIONING OF ELEMENTS

  5.  A. To turn the first element into a title,
  6.     choose Title Toggle from the Display menu. Try it now.
  7.  
  8.  B. To skip the numbering on any element,
  9.     place the cursor in the element to be skipped and choose
  10.     Skip Numbering from the Display menu.  All other elements
  11.     will be renumbered accordingly.  Place the cursor
  12.                         >>  HERE  <<
  13.     and try this option.

  15.  C. To restore the numbering on an element,
  16.     place the cursor in the skipped element and choose Restore
  17.     Numbering from the Display menu.  As the numbering is
  18.     restored, all other numbering will be readjusted
  19.     accordingly.  Move the cursor to the previous element and
  20.     try this function.

  22.  D. To move an element sideways,
  23.     place the cursor in the element to move and choose Place
  24.     Outline Entry from the Display menu.  The entire element
  25.     will be highlighted.  Use the Left and Right arrow keys to
  26.     move the entire element in the corresponding direction.  If
  27.     you go off the end in either direction (column 0 or column
  28.     186), the entire element will rap around to the opposite
  29.     end.  Press return to confirm the new location.
  30.          Position the cursor

  32.     and try this function.  Position this element several
  33.     columns to the right.  Position the cursor to another
  34.     element and try this function again.

  36.  E. To restore the location of all elements to the default,
  37.     choose Reset All Places from the Display menu.  All elements
  38.     will revert to their default indent positions.  Try this
  39.     function now and watch how it restores the indent of all
  40.     elements changed with Place Outline Entry above.
